Cookie & Browser Storage Policy
Effective 11 October 2026 · Last updated 11 October 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used by Exado websites and applications. A cookie is a small file stored by a browser. Similar technologies include IndexedDB, local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs and device identifiers. This policy is part of the Exado Privacy Notice and applies whenever Exado or its service providers use such technologies on an Exado property.
2. Essential technologies used by the portal
The portal uses Firebase Authentication and browser IndexedDB persistence to keep a signed-in session, refresh authentication state and complete email verification and authenticator MFA flows. Exado may use strictly necessary session or security storage to protect the service, prevent abuse, remember security choices and keep the application working. Firebase or Google infrastructure may set or access additional technologies when required to deliver authentication, anti-abuse checks or hosting. These are not used by Exado to build an advertising profile.
3. Optional analytics and marketing
Exado does not currently intentionally place optional analytics, personalization or advertising cookies on the landing page or portal. If Exado introduces a non-essential cookie or similar technology, Exado will update this policy, identify its purpose and provider, and obtain consent before activating it where applicable law requires consent. A consent control will be provided where required.
4. Browser choices
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Clearing essential Firebase authentication storage may sign you out and require email verification or an authenticator challenge again. Blocking necessary storage may prevent account creation or portal access. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not consistently interpreted across browsers; Exado does not use them to enable advertising tracking.
5. Third-party services
When you use a third-party sign-in, integration or embedded feature, that provider may set its own cookies or storage under its own notice. The current private preview does not connect Microsoft, Jira or other business systems and does not embed social-media trackers. Google/Firebase processing is described in the Exado Privacy Notice and Google’s own privacy information.
6. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when browser technologies or product features change. The current version and effective date appear above. Questions: info@exado.app.
